Environment

The North Sea provides a very unique environment which needs to be handled with special care during any economic activity. For the Butendiek project area, compulsory environmental investigations of potential ecological impacts were performed with a focus on most likely affected wildlife such as benthos, fish, resting and migrating birds and marine mammals.
